Magic is one of the most common forms of energy known in the world. It impacts people, objects, and sometimes even the land itself. Few places have fully concealed themselves from the touch of magic- and some have even fully embraced it. And some of these people learned to harness it.  

Meet the five kingdoms: Lazuli, Rathage, Kraimore, Saeria, and Alfhildir. All vastly different, the five kingdoms have never harmoniously lived with one another. With such differences, war is unavoidable. 

For hundreds of years, Alfhildir marched across the continent, conquering everything in its path. It was a monster trying to swallow up everything in its path, an eternally hungry beast that wouldn't be satisfied until it ruled everything. 

However, on one of the bloodiest days in the history of Lazuli- Alfhildir suddenly vanished. Their soldiers were gone, their forts abandoned, and Alfhildir's capital was surrounded by an impenetrable mist.

It was easier while they were gone. The raids and attacks were recent memories in only the oldest elves- and Alfhildir became nothing but a bedtime story for children. Things carried on like normal. Yet on the two hundredth anniversary of Alfhildir's great vanishing- the fog dissipated. Alfhildir was back- and the march upon the world has begun once again.
