We are a self-organized group of local players within San Diego who share the same goal of creating a welcoming, friendly, and helpful environment for all players. Our community is made up of committed players who demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills to reach our objectives. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of what a community should be and hold ourselves accountable accordingly.

Established and acquired by Ali Vongsathian on July 17, 2021, during the annual Pokémon GO Fest Global Event, Pokémon GO San Diego is one of the largest user-based community groups. Created as a Facebook Messenger group called 'Pokémon GO City Heights' for the public use of premium raid passes in a specific area, it eventually merged with Discord and was rebranded as 'Pokémon GO San Diego' on August 17, 2021.
